How does the homeschooling mom do it all? Cooking, cleaning, geometry, spelling, and extracurriculars? It’s a seemingly endless to-do list.

We asked homeschooling moms to share some of their top secrets with us, and here’s what they said:  

  • It’s necessary to rely completely on God’s grace to get through the day. Most moms said that they start and end the day in prayer while constantly inviting the Holy Spirit to be present in their home.  
  •  Joining a group or having a community of homeschooling friends is essential. This will be your support system during rough seasons, your go-to for creative ideas, and a place to laugh (or maybe cry!) about your homeschooling adventures.  
  • Planning ahead will save both your time and your sanity. Lesson and meal prep are crucial to homeschooling success.
